In light of the current COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) situation in Singapore, it is our responsibility to ensure that all our beneficiaries and staff are adequately protected. That being said, we have suspended most outdoor group activities due to COVID-19.
The sole purpose of this temporary suspension is to minimize contact until further notice from Ministry of Social and Family Development(MSF) and the relevant government agencies .
As part of the enhanced cleaning initiative for our 3 day activity centres, the frequency of cleaning efforts has at least doubled. In addition, disinfectants are now used instead of just general purpose cleaning solutions.
Also, we have ensured adequate supply of antibacterial soaps, masks, hand sanitizers, Kitchen towel and the lists goes on.. within the centre.
In view of the situation of the COVID-19 and in accordance with recommendation by the relevant authorities, the following measures are put in place at Christian Outreach to the Handicapped.
Temperature screening for all persons entering and re-entering the building. Health and travel declarations for all persons entering .
Following the temperature taking and declarations, the following persons will not be allowed entry to the building:
1. Anyone who has been in contact with any person who is a confirmed case of COVID-19 infection in the past 21 days
2. Anyone who has been in China in the past 21 days
3. Anyone currently having fever / flu-like symptoms
We will continue maintaining cleanliness of all premises on a daily basis. These necessary precautions have indeed affected our organization’s expenditure greatly due to the need of purchasing items and the services. While we at Christian Outreach To The Handicapped are actively inheringto the recommendation by the relevant authorities, we need your help.
If you’re able, please make a donation and help us out with these load! Support us for a free virus environment! Thank you and have a blessed day ahead!
