Merlion The Musical

Step into the world of Merlene, a captivating new fantasy musical featuring the talented Nick Shen in the role of the Sea Lion Warrior. Shen, known for his victory in the 1999 Star Search talent contest, brings a powerful presence to the stage as the protector of Lion City. But this isn’t just any musical—Merlene is a unique blend of mythology, heartwarming performances, and community spirit.

The story follows Merlene, the brave Merlion girl and daughter of Lion City’s king, alongside Aquina, a fish woman, on an adventurous journey filled with fantasy and emotion.

This imaginative tale brings together an eclectic cast, including individuals from Christian Outreach to the Handicapped (COH). These performers, some of whom have special needs, will be taking the stage for the first time in a major musical production—a testament to the inclusive nature of this incredible project.
